OUR STORY

IMG_8763.jpg

Gyotaku is a traditional form of Japanese art that was created over 100 years ago, as a way for fishermen to keep record of fish they caught. Born and raised on Oahu, artist Shane Hamamoto began gyotaku printing in 1999 and continues his passion today. Shane is able to connect with each of you through his love for the ocean and all that it holds. Each print by Shane is uniquely processed, delicately created, and beautifully handcrafted. Shane and his wife, Adel, are so excited to share their custom gyotaku art on apparel and accessories. Thank you for supporting a small local business and stay tuned!
